On behalf of the Board and staff, accept my warmest welcome to Jericho Youth Services. We have been serving the Georgina Community since 1982 and have been thrilled to see the lasting impact that we have had. Here at Jericho we are passionate about ensuring the positive growth and development of our youth through After school Programs, Camps, Volunteer Opportunities and Development.

As the Executive Director I am responsible for overseeing the functioning of the daily operations. I work in partnership with our Board of Directors to develop our strategic plan for the future of Jericho Youth Services and work to ensure we are able to continue to offer accessible programs for our community.

I have been the Executive Director at Jericho Youth Services for the past fifteen years and I am passionate about the successes we have reached in this time. I look forward to working to continue to the success of our outreach into the community and seeing a lasting impact on the lives of Georgina youth.

Lindsey Jones, Community Development Coordinator
lindsey.jones@jerichoys.org

As the Community Development Coordinator, I ensure that Jericho runs high quality After School Programs to all children in our community. I have worked for Jericho for 12 years and in this time I have seen many children, youth and adults grow to be the amazing leaders I know they can be. I also oversee our Leader in Training program for ages 10 to 13, and all our volunteers. Our programs truly provide the following:

a) create a sense of belonging
b) improve social skills
c) make learning more fun
d) provide homework help
e) provide safety and supervision
f) build confidence

As a Parks and Rec High Five trainer, I train our staff members in the following: Principles of Healthy Child Development and Child's Mental Health. I have been working in this field for over twenty years and love to share my knowledge with our staff members. I make sure that we are providing enhanced programs and positive life experiences for the children in our care, which remain with them for a lifetime.

I believe in the power of making a difference in a child's life, through the power of play.

Chantelle Oosterhuis, Camp Director
chantelle.oosterhuis@jerichoys.org

As Camp Director, I work alongside our Ultimate Summer Camp staff to plan and facilitate our three Summer Camps across Georgina. I ensure our staff are trained and supported to provide the Ultimate Experience for our campers during their time at camp. I oversee all camp activities, trips and communications. As Camp Director, I am dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive and accessible camp for the children and youth of Georgina.

My involvement with Jericho began in 2009, where I started as a volunteer. Throughout my time with Jericho I have had the exceptional opportunity of taking on many roles, including; Program Leader, Supervisor, Inclusion Facilitator, Program Coordinator, and now serving my third year as the Camp Director. Outside of Jericho, I am a dedicated Social Work student with designation in Indigenous perspective.

I look forward to continuing to support our community as part of the Jericho Youth Services team.
